Intro

Norwegian composer Geir Jenssen, known professionally as Biosphere, creates electronic music from his home in Tromsø. His ambient and ambient house compositions frequently incorporate field recordings, science fiction samples, and themes inspired by Arctic landscapes. A multi-award winner of the Spellemannprisen, Jenssen achieved critical acclaim for his 1997 album Substrata. Beyond his studio recordings released through labels like Beatservice and All Saints, he has also produced various film scores.
