Jaded Heart

Jaded Heart is a cornerstone of the German hard rock scene, emerging in 1990 and maintaining a prolific output for over three decades. Initially led by Michael Bormann, the band established a reputation for high-quality AOR and melodic rock, culminating in the critically acclaimed album 'IV' (1999), produced by Bobby Barth.

This era was characterized by lush arrangements and a strong emphasis on vocal harmonies. Following Bormann's departure in 2004, the band underwent a significant stylistic shift with the arrival of Swedish vocalist Johan Fahlberg. This transition, marked by the album 'Helluva Time' (2005), saw the band embrace a heavier, more guitar-driven sound that flirted with power metal and contemporary heavy metal. This pivot allowed them to remain relevant in a changing musical landscape, securing a dedicated following in both Europe and Japan.
