Formed in Chicago in 1993, the American alternative rock band Veruca Salt features Nina Gordon, Louise Post, Jim Shapiro, and Stacy Jones. Signed to DGC Records, the group gained prominence with their debut album American Thighs and the hit single Seether. Following various lineup changes and a temporary hiatus, the original members reunited to release their fifth studio album, Ghost Notes, in 2015, continuing their legacy in the alternative rock scene.
