Tu Fawning was a Portland-based quartet (2008-2012) formed by Corrina Repp and Joe Haege (Menomena, 31knots). The project emerged from Haege's production work on Repp's solo material for Caldo Verde Records.
Their sound identity is defined by a 'tribal-pop' aesthetic, characterized by heavy, repetitive percussion, noir-influenced brass arrangements, and dual vocal harmonies that lean into the uncanny.
