Intro

Sweet Noise sounds like a high-speed collision between the raw aggression of 90s hardcore and the cold, calculated precision of industrial electronics. Their music is built on a foundation of massive, down-tuned guitar riffs and heavy grooves, but it is the addition of turntables and synthesizers that gives them their distinctive urban edge. The vocals of Glaca are a focal point, shifting between rhythmic rapping, melodic tension, and guttural screams, all delivered with a sense of urgent, social defiance.

What sets them apart is their commitment to conceptual art and multimedia performance. Unlike many of their metal peers who stick to traditional song structures, Sweet Noise incorporates experimental textures and atmospheric transitions that feel more like a film score for a dystopian future. Their production is dense and layered, often featuring intricate percussion and electronic noise that fills every corner of the stereo field, creating a wall of sound that is both suffocating and exhilarating.

To understand their impact, start with the album 'Czas Ludzi Cienia'. It represents the peak of their fusion between heavy rock and electronic experimentation, capturing the restless energy of the early 2000s Polish alternative scene. It is music designed to be played loud, serving as both a cathartic release and a call to consciousness for listeners who prefer their metal with a side of intellectual and political weight.

Sweet Noise is a Polish alternative metal band. The group was formed in 1990 in Swarzędz. They have released eight CDs (included two international versions) and appeared three times at the Przystanek Woodstock festival with the special show in 2003 when more than 400,000 people watched the culmination of what the band refers to as conceptual art of Revolta White Shock. The leader and creator of the band is Peter "Glaca" Mohamed. Mohamed is the singer, musician, performer, producer and conceptual artist. He developed an experimental, multimedia project Noise Inc.. He is also involved in project Serce with Toshi Kasai and M.T.void which is a musical outfit run by Mohamed and Justin Chancellor, the bass player of Tool.
