Stanley Bernard Benton, professionally known as Stat Quo, is an American rapper and producer rooted in the Atlanta hip-hop and Southern gangsta rap scenes. After studying economics and international business at the University of Florida, he transitioned from pursuing law to music under the guidance of Scarface. Following a series of independent mixtapes, his work caught the attention of Dr. Dre and Eminem, ultimately securing him a recording contract with Shady Records.
