Soapkills is a seminal Lebanese indie-electronic duo formed in 1997 by Zeid Hamdan and Yasmine Hamdan. Emerging in the wake of the Lebanese Civil War, they became the face of the Beirut underground scene, bridging the gap between traditional Arabic music and contemporary Western electronica.
