Germain, which defined the luxury-chillout aesthetic of the era. Their sound identity is a meticulously crafted blend of trip-hop breakbeats, upright bass grooves, and sophisticated jazz harmonies. A defining characteristic of their debut work is the inclusion of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, which elevated their sound from typical bedroom-produced downtempo to a cinematic, 'urban movie' scale. The project is notable for its high-caliber collaborations, specifically featuring the lyrics of Lissette Alea and the vocals of acclaimed Korean jazz singer Youn Sun Nah.
