Born Anne Decatur Danielewski, the American singer, songwriter, and producer known as Poe gained prominence in 1995 with pop rock hits like "Angry Johnny" and "Hello." Her eclectic sound fuses rock, jazz, folk, and electronica. After a six-year tenure with Atlantic Records, she now releases music through her independent label, Repoezessed Music Records. Poe was also a pioneer in building early digital fan communities long before the rise of modern social media.
