Formed in Los Angeles in 2013, the American indie pop trio MUNA consists of members Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson. Drawing musical inspiration from The Cure, the band produced two studio albums under RCA Records before moving to the independent label Saddest Factory Records. In 2022, they released their self-titled third studio album, continuing to build upon their established sound within the modern alternative pop landscape.
