Intro

Monét X Change delivers a sound that is as much about technical precision as it is about pure, unadulterated charisma. Her music lives in the intersection of high-gloss dance-pop and soulful R&B, often punctuated by the sharp wit and theatricality of her drag persona. It is music that feels expensive, bright, and deeply rooted in the queer nightlife tradition of finding power through performance.

What truly sets her apart is the vocal pedigree. Unlike many of her contemporaries, Monét brings a legitimate operatic background to the recording booth, allowing for a range and control that elevates standard club fare into something more substantial. You will hear effortless transitions from rhythmic rap verses to soaring, belt-heavy choruses that demand your full attention.

Start with 'Soak It Up' for the quintessential high-energy anthem, then move into the 'GREY RAINBOW' project to hear her more nuanced, genre-bending evolution. It is the perfect companion for any moment that requires a boost in confidence or a reason to move.

Monét X Change (born February 19, 1990) is the stage name of Kevin Akeem Bertin, an American drag queen, singer, podcaster, and reality television personality. He is known for competing on the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race (2018), on which he placed sixth and was crowned the season's Miss Congeniality, and for winning the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars (2018–2019) alongside Trinity the Tuck. He returned to compete in the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, an all-winners season, where he placed runner-up. He currently co-hosts the podcast Sibling Rivalry (with Bob the Drag Queen), and formally hosted Ebony and Irony (with Lady Bunny). He also hosts the Dropout show Monét's Slumber Party.
