High-octane Midwestern rock that turns a two-man setup into a wall of sound. Gritty, sarcastic, and relentlessly loud anthems for the frustrated and the bored.
Formed in 1987 in Zion, Illinois, the American band Local H blends alternative, grunge, hard rock, and punk influences. Initially established by Scott Lucas, the group evolved into a distinct two-piece act. After signing with Island Records in 1994, the band achieved significant commercial success with their 1996 album As Good as Dead. This record featured the hit single Bound for the Floor, which remains their most recognizable musical contribution.
