High-energy disco-pop and tender soft rock anchored by a signature falsetto. It is the sound of pure 1970s optimism and radio-ready hooks.
Born in 1948, English-Australian singer-songwriter Leo Sayer began his pop music career during the early 1970s. Signed to Chrysalis Records, he achieved international success with a string of top-ten hits. Sayer earned a Grammy Award for his 1978 track, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing. Beyond his own performances, his compositions have been recorded by prominent artists such as Cliff Richard, Roger Daltrey, and Three Dog Night.
