Gritty, soulful psychedelic rock from the 'Guru' of Bangladesh. Raw vocals and searing guitar work for late nights and deep existential reflection.
Faruq Mahfuz Anam, widely known as James, is a prominent Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer. Often called Guru, he gained fame in the 1990s as the frontman of the band Feelings, which pioneered psychedelic rock in Bangladesh. Beyond his influential work with the group, now known as Nagar Baul, James has maintained a successful solo career with multiple hit albums and has contributed his vocals to several Bollywood film soundtracks.
