Intro

I Don't Like Mondays. craft a sound that feels like a high-definition stroll through Tokyo's most expensive districts. It is music that prioritizes the 'groove' above all else, blending the rhythmic precision of funk with the soaring, anthemic choruses of modern pop-rock. The production is immaculately clean, shimmering with digital clarity and a sense of luxury that mirrors their deep ties to the fashion world.

What truly sets them apart is their 'Be Play Boy' philosophy, which translates into a carefree, charismatic energy. Unlike many of their J-Rock peers who lean into angst or technical complexity, IDLMs. focus on the physical response. The basslines are prominent and bouncy, the guitars are rhythmic and bright, and the vocals possess a smooth, effortless charm that makes every track feel like an invitation to a party you're lucky to be at.

Start with 'Black Humor' for a look at their modern, polished peak, or dive into 'Paint' if you want to hear how they adapt their signature metropolitan swagger to a high-stakes anime anthem. It is the ultimate soundtrack for anyone who wants their life to feel a little more like a fashion editorial.

Their music has been used for the television dramas Rizzoli & Isles and Octo: Mind Investigator Akari Shinno.
