Hysterica

Hysterica is an all-female heavy metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 2005 by guitarist Bitte 'Bitchie Blackmore' Ebbersten. The band emerged during a vibrant period for Swedish hard rock, distinguishing themselves by focusing on traditional heavy metal and power metal tropes rather than the death or black metal common in the region.

Their sound is characterized by high-production values, often attributed to collaborators like Peter Tägtgren, who mixed their debut full-length 'Metalwar' (2009). Despite several lineup shifts, they maintained a consistent identity centered on anthemic songwriting and a theatrical 'warrior' image.
