Human Resource is a pivotal Dutch electronic collective formed in 1990, best known for their massive 1991 hit 'Dominator'. This track is historically significant for popularizing the 'Hoover' synth sound (originally the 'What the' patch from the Roland Alpha Juno) which became a foundational element of rave, hardcore, and trance.

Based in Rotterdam, the group was central to the emergence of the Gabber scene, a high-intensity subgenre of hardcore techno characterized by distorted 909 kick drums and tempos often exceeding 150 BPM. Their career arc saw them transition from early rave pioneers to elder statesmen of the Dutch hardcore scene, eventually leading to the massive 'Dominator' festival being named in their honor.
