Hevisaurus

Hevisaurus is a Finnish heavy metal band specifically tailored for children, founded in 2009 by Mirka Rantanen. The project is defined by its five dinosaur characters - Herra Hevisaurus, Milli Pilli, Komppi Momppi, Riffi Raffi, and Muffi Puffi - who perform in elaborate costumes.

Despite the child-friendly branding, the musicality is rooted in high-quality traditional heavy metal and power metal. The band has consistently collaborated with elite members of the Finnish metal scene, including musicians from Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius, ensuring that the technical execution meets professional genre standards.
