Sidney Royel Selby III, professionally known as Desiigner, is an American rapper and singer associated with trap, mumble rap, and hardcore hip-hop. He rose to prominence with his 2015 chart-topping debut single, Panda. Following this success, he joined Kanye West's GOOD Music label under Def Jam Recordings. Despite later releasing the single Tiimmy Turner, he departed from both labels in 2019 and is often characterized by critics as a one-hit wonder.
