Born in Poland and having lived in the US and Japan, his music reflects a nomadic, outsider perspective. His sound is characterized by the use of music trackers (like Impulse Tracker), resulting in a rigid yet hyper-complex rhythmic structure that distinguishes him from the more fluid synthesis of his peers. His early career was marked by extreme DIY ethics, often producing music while homeless in Tokyo. Critically, he is seen as a bridge between the technical precision of Squarepusher and the emotional, often absurdist whimsy of the early 2000s glitch scene. His influence is significant; Richard D. James cited him as a direct inspiration for the complex drum programming on 'Drukqs'.
