Intro

Formed in New York City in 1974 by Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, Blondie emerged as a foundational American new wave act. The group, which also features Clem Burke and Gary Lachman, gained international prominence by blending rock, punk, disco, and pop. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the band released music through labels including Chrysalis and Sony, achieving significant commercial success with multiple chart-topping hits before their eventual dissolution.
