Arwen

Arwen is a Spanish power metal institution formed in 1996, notable for their unusually large eight-member lineup designed to replicate complex studio arrangements live without samples. Their sound is a sophisticated blend of European power metal, progressive rock structures, and symphonic textures.

Historically, they emerged during the turn-of-the-millennium boom of melodic metal, but distinguished themselves through the inclusion of both male and female vocals and a dual-keyboard setup.
