Active Child is the moniker of American musician and producer Patrick James Grossi. Emerging from the new wave scene, he released his debut record, You Are All I See, in 2011 via Vagrant Records. The project earned critical acclaim and led to touring opportunities supporting James Blake and M83. His songwriting gained further prominence when Ellie Goulding covered his track Hanging On for her 2012 album, Halcyon.
