Thrall-Demonsweatlive

Released in 1993, Thrall-Demonsweatlive is a pivotal EP in the Danzig discography, functioning as both a bridge between the 'Danzig III: How the Gods Kill' era and the experimental '4p', and as the catalyst for the band's greatest commercial success. The EP is split into two distinct halves: 'Thrall', featuring three new studio recordings, and 'Demonsweatlive', a four-song live set recorded in 1992. The studio tracks, particularly 'It's Coming Down', showcase the band's move toward a more industrial-tinged, rhythmic heaviness while maintaining Glenn Danzig's signature blues-metal croon. However, the EP's legacy is dominated by the live version of 'Mother'.
