This Darkened Heart

Released in 2004, This Darkened Heart is the second studio album by All That Remains and represents a significant evolution from their debut, Behind Silence and Solitude. Produced by Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage, the album helped define the Massachusetts metalcore sound. While the band would later achieve massive commercial success with a more accessible hard rock sound, this record is firmly rooted in melodic death metal. It features the definitive lineup including guitarists Oli Herbert and Mike Martin.
