Released in 2003, Piss Off is a seminal work in the Satanicpornocultshop catalog, functioning as a high-concept protest against media censorship. The project's central conceit - sampling 120 songs that the Clear Channel Communications memorandum suggested be removed from radio play following the 9/11 attacks and during the onset of the Iraq War - gives the EP a heavy political weight. Sonically, it is a masterclass in 'bricolage,' the art of constructing new meanings from found objects. The album's structure is notoriously difficult, featuring 86 tracks that range from several minutes to mere seconds.
