Hark! EP

Released in 2019, Hark! serves as Andrew Bird's sophisticated entry into the holiday canon, though it functions more as a winter-themed exploration of his chamber-folk style than a standard Christmas album. The EP features a mix of original compositions like 'Alabaster' and 'Nights Falling' alongside reimagined classics and covers of Vince Guaraldi's 'Peanuts' compositions. Sonically, the record is a departure from the more dense, indie-rock leaning production of his previous full-length, My Finest Work Yet, opting instead for a stripped-back, live-in-the-room feel.
