Released in 2010, Exhibit B: The Human Condition is the companion piece to 2007's Exhibit A, marking a peak in the band's technical 'Dukes-era.' Produced by Andy Sneap, the album features his signature high-compression, crystal-clear metal production which emphasizes the surgical precision of the 'H-Team' guitar duo. Unlike the short, punchy tracks of their 80s heyday, this album is characterized by its sprawling song lengths, with several tracks exceeding seven minutes. This allowed for more complex arrangements and thematic depth, focusing on historical atrocities like the Nanking Massacre and the psychology of serial killers. It remains one of the longest and most ambitious albums in the Exodus catalog, successfully bridging the gap between traditional Bay Area thrash and a more modern, groove-oriented extremity. Its charting on the Billboard 200 signaled a significant commercial resurgence for the band.
