While previous albums established their 'Templar' persona, Crimson Thunder refined it into a global brand. Notable for being the only album in their discography without the word 'Hammer' in a song title, it nonetheless remains quintessential HammerFall. The album features a mix of high-tempo anthems like 'Hearts on Fire' - which became a career-defining hit - and more experimental tracks like the instrumental 'In Memoriam.'
