Bacdafucup

Released in March 1993, Bacdafucup is the debut studio album by the Queens-based group Onyx. Produced primarily by Chyskillz and Jam Master Jay, the album is a cornerstone of hardcore East Coast hip-hop. It is most famous for introducing a 'slam' aesthetic to the genre, characterized by aggressive, shouted vocals and a visual style defined by shaved heads and leather jackets. The album's lead single, 'Slam,' became a massive crossover hit, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, a rare feat for such an abrasive record.
