Wolfgang is a seminal Filipino hard rock and heavy metal band that emerged in the early 1990s, fundamentally altering the landscape of the Philippine music industry. Formed in 1992, the band - consisting of Basti Artadi, Manuel Legarda, Mon Legaspi, and Wolf Gemora - rejected the prevailing trend of sentimental ballads in favor of a sound heavily influenced by Western giants like Soundgarden, Metallica, and Led Zeppelin.
Their technical proficiency and Artadi's distinctive operatic-grunge vocals earned them critical acclaim, including multiple NU107 Rock Awards.
