Formed in Sydney in 2011, the electronic project What So Not was founded by Australian producer Emoh Instead. Initially featuring Flume, the act gained international prominence through releases on the OWSLA label and successful tracks like "Jaguar" and "Tell Me." Throughout his career, the artist has performed at major global festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza, while achieving chart success before releasing his debut studio album, Not All the Beautiful Things, in 2018.
