High-octane electronic rock with soaring, cinematic vocals. Polished, powerful anthems for finding strength in the middle of the storm.
VERIDIA sounds like the intersection of a high-budget sci-fi score and a modern rock arena. Their sound is defined by the contrast between Deena Jakoub's versatile, often operatic vocals and a backdrop of crunchy, distorted guitars and sharp electronic pulses. It is music that feels physically large, utilizing wide stereo imaging and dense layering to create a sense of urgent, forward motion.
What sets them apart is the seamless integration of electronic glitch elements into a traditional rock trio format. Rather than just adding synths as a background layer, the electronics often drive the rhythm, creating a 'pop-metal' hybrid that feels both futuristic and deeply human. The songwriting leans heavily into the 'beauty in the breakdown' aesthetic, balancing aggressive verses with soaring, melodic choruses designed for maximum emotional impact.
Start with 'Inseparable' to hear their electronic-rock foundation at its most infectious, then move to 'The Beast You Feed' to experience their more experimental, independent evolution. It is the perfect discovery for anyone who wants the grit of alternative rock without sacrificing the polished hooks of modern pop.
