Established in 2007, the act has evolved from early releases on labels like Siltbreeze to a partnership with 4AD. Collaborating with local musicians, Remy has earned significant critical recognition. Her albums Half Free, In a Poem Unlimited, and Heavy Light each secured Juno Award nominations for Alternative Album of the Year and Polaris Music Prize shortlists.
