Formed in Tokyo in 2000, toe is a Japanese musical group known for blending post-rock, alternative rock, and math rock styles. The quartet derives its name from the phrase theory of everything. The band features a consistent lineup consisting of drummer Kashikura Takashi, guitarists Mino Takaaki and Yamazaki Hirokazu, and bassist Yamane Satoshi. Over more than two decades, they have established a distinct instrumental sound within the international independent music scene.
