Polished R&B that feels like a private conversation. Smooth vocal harmonies meet sharp hip-hop storytelling for late nights and heavy hearts.
Tink creates music that feels like a shared secret. Her sound is a sophisticated blend of 90s-inspired R&B vocal arrangements and the crisp, rhythmic urgency of modern Chicago hip-hop. There is a tactile warmth to her production, often featuring lush synths and steady, hypnotic drum patterns that provide a safe space for her raw, unfiltered lyricism.
What truly sets her apart is the seamlessness of her hybridity. She doesn't just switch between singing and rapping; she inhabits a middle ground where melody and meter are inseparable. Her storytelling is hyper-specific, grounded in the geography of Chicago and the emotional turbulence of young adulthood, delivered with a breathy intimacy that makes every listener feel like her closest confidante.
Start with 'Winter's Diary 2' to hear her at her most vulnerable and cohesive. It is the definitive bridge between her church-choir roots and her sharp-edged rap instincts, capturing the bittersweet essence of navigating love and loyalty in the city.
Trinity Laure'Ale Home (born March 18, 1995), better known by her stage name Tink, is an American singer and rapper. She signed with record producer Timbaland's Mosley Music Group, an imprint of Epic Records to release her 2014 debut single, "Treat Me Like Somebody". Her 2015 single, "Million", entered the Bubbling Under Hot 100. Both produced by Timbaland, the songs were intended to precede her debut studio album Think Tink, although disagreements with the producer led her to part ways with the label in 2017. Tink was chosen as part of the XXL 2015 Freshman Class.
