High-energy indie pop with theatrical falsetto and quirky, anxious charm. Perfect for road trips and shaking off a bad mood with a dose of eccentric British wit.
Formed in 2003 in Bracknell, United Kingdom, The Hoosiers are a Britpop band featuring Irwin Sparkes and Alan Sharland. The group achieved early commercial success in 2007 when their debut album, The Trick to Life, topped the UK Albums Chart and their single "Worried About Ray" reached the top five. Signed to RCA Records, the duo later secured another top 10 album and a top 20 single with their 2010 release, The Illusion of Safety.
