Formed in Los Angeles, The Calling is an American alternative and pop rock band centered on lead singer Alex Band. The group gained significant recognition for their 2001 debut album, Camino Palmero, and its hit single, "Wherever You Will Go." After releasing their second album, Two, in 2004, the band experienced a hiatus before reforming. They have earned industry recognition, including an NRJ Music Award for International Group of the Year.
