SYML

SYML is the solo project of Brian Fennell, formerly of the indie-pop band Barcelona. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Fennell's work as SYML represents a pivot toward a more minimalist, emotionally raw aesthetic that heavily utilizes his classical piano background and distinctive falsetto.

His sound identity is defined by 'simple' (the Welsh meaning of Syml) but deeply layered arrangements that blend traditional singer-songwriter elements with ambient electronic textures.
