Formed in Los Angeles in 1994, Styles of Beyond is an American underground hip-hop group featuring MCs Ryu and Tak, DJ Cheapshot, and producer Vin Skully. The ensemble released two LPs and one mixtape throughout their career. They gained significant recognition for their contributions to Mike Shinoda's 2005 Fort Minor project and maintained a past affiliation with the Machine Shop Recordings label. The group also shares strong ties with the collective Demigodz.
