Steinkind is a German electronic duo consisting of Phil J. , formed in Leipzig in 2005.

The project's origin story is famously rooted in a shared arrest following a fight at an industrial party, a chaotic beginning that mirrors the aggressive, confrontational nature of their sound. Musically, Steinkind occupies the space between EBM (Electronic Body Music), industrial, and techno, characterized by high-energy rhythms, distorted German vocals, and a clinical yet gritty production style.
