Formed in the Handsworth area of Birmingham, Steel Pulse is a British roots reggae group. The band, which includes bassist Ronald McQueen, gained international recognition for their musical contributions. They achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first non-Jamaican act to receive a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Throughout their career, the ensemble has earned a total of nine Grammy nominations while releasing music through labels like Island Records.
