Formed in 1985 in Macomb, Illinois, Stabbing Westward is an American alternative and industrial rock band led by Christopher Hall. The group gained prominence through four studio albums released between 1994 and 2001 on Columbia Records. After a hiatus following their 2002 dissolution, the band reunited in 2016 for live performances. They eventually returned to the studio, releasing their first new full-length album in over two decades, Chasing Ghosts, in 2022.
