SosMula, born Vinicius Sosa, is a pivotal figure in the emergence of trap metal, a subgenre that fuses the rhythmic foundations of trap with the sonic aggression of punk and metal. Originally from São Paulo and raised in New York, his sound is a product of the NYC battle rap scene filtered through a lens of extreme distortion.

As one half of the duo City Morgue alongside ZillaKami, he helped define a new underground aesthetic characterized by 'horrorcore' imagery and high-decibel production. His solo career, particularly starting with the 2021 release '13 SONGS 2 DIE 2', showcases a move toward even more abrasive, industrial-influenced trap. Critically, he is noted for his unique vocal texture and the 'MULA!' war-cry that has become a staple of his brand. His work is central to the 'Sleez' aesthetic, a cult-like following that embraces the darker, more hedonistic side of the underground rap world.
