Brutal Russian deathcore defined by bone-rattling gutturals and nu-metal grooves. High-octane aggression for the gym or the pit.
This is music that feels like a physical confrontation. It is built on a foundation of massive, down-tuned guitar riffs and percussion that mimics the precision of heavy machinery. The atmosphere is thick with tension, often punctuated by sudden, explosive breakdowns that demand a physical reaction. It is the sound of modern metal pushed to its sonic extremes, where every element is dialed to maximum impact.
What truly sets this sound apart is the vocal performance of Alex Terrible, whose range spans from terrifyingly deep gutturals to frantic, pitched screams. The band cleverly integrates Russian and English lyrics, adding a rhythmic complexity that feels unique to their cultural background. While they are firmly rooted in deathcore, they incorporate the rhythmic 'bounce' of early 2000s nu-metal, making the songs surprisingly catchy despite their sheer brutality.
Start with the 2021 album Kostolom. It represents their most cohesive blend of technical deathcore proficiency and stadium-sized hooks. If you want to hear the exact moment they became a global phenomenon, listen to the track Demolisher for a masterclass in vocal technique and breakdown timing.
