Silvio Pozzoli, professionally known as Silver Pozzoli, is a foundational figure in the Italo-disco genre. Emerging from the vibrant Milanese music scene of the early 1980s, Pozzoli became a prolific vocalist and songwriter whose influence extended far beyond his solo hits.

His 1985 breakout 'Around My Dream' became a pan-European success, showcasing the genre's signature blend of English lyrics, synthesized arrangements, and high-energy dance beats. Beyond his solo career, Pozzoli was a sought-after session vocalist, famously providing the actual singing voice for several tracks by the 'face' of the genre, Den Harrow, a common practice in the image-focused Italo scene. His work with the project Club House further demonstrated his versatility, bridging the gap between disco and the emerging Italo-house sound. Critically, he is regarded as a master of the 'Italo-pop' crossover, maintaining high production standards that have made his original 12-inch pressings highly collectible among crate diggers and electronic music historians.
