Shadowax is the mischievous, club-oriented alter ego of Mirabella Karyanova, better known for her atmospheric IDM work as Ishome. This project strips away the lush pads of her primary work in favor of rubbery basslines, sharp rhythmic glitches, and a uniquely detached vocal presence. It is music that occupies the strange intersection of high-concept sound design and functional dancefloor energy, often feeling both clinical and deeply weird.
