Intro

Sarah Close crafts the kind of pop music that feels like a secret shared between friends. It is built on a foundation of classic singer-songwriter piano work, but it is dressed in the shimmering, modern textures of 21st-century electropop. Her voice is the anchor, often recorded with a close-mic intimacy that makes every breath and syllable feel intentional and personal.

What sets her apart is the balance between vulnerability and resilience. While many of her tracks deal with the fallout of relationships or the anxiety of growing up, there is an underlying strength in the production. The beats are crisp and the synths are bright, preventing the music from ever feeling too heavy or bogged down in melancholy. It is music for the transition periods of life.

Start with 'Call Me Out' to hear her ability to write a massive, infectious hook that still retains an indie sensibility. From there, move to her debut album 'And Now, We're Shining' to see how she expanded her sound into a more cohesive, atmospheric pop landscape that rewards repeat listens.
