Formed in Memphis in 1996, Saliva is an American rock band associated with heavy metal and nu metal. The group achieved commercial success after signing with Island Records and Def Jam Recordings, notably with their breakthrough album Every Six Seconds and the hit single Always. Throughout their career, the band has earned six Grammy nominations and an MTV Music Video Award, navigating numerous lineup changes since their inception.
