Intro

S10 creates a soundscape that is both deeply intimate and expansively cinematic. Her music often feels like it is being performed in a large, empty room where every breath and crack in her voice is amplified. It is a blend of modern electronic textures, hip-hop cadences, and a singer-songwriter's heart, all delivered with a distinctively Dutch directness that cuts through the atmospheric haze.

What sets her apart is her unflinching willingness to explore the darker corners of the human psyche. Her early work, recorded on simple equipment, established a 'bedroom' intimacy that she has maintained even as her production has become more polished and sophisticated. There is a specific tension in her music between the cold, digital precision of her beats and the warm, fragile humanity of her lyrics.

For those new to her work, 'De Diepte' is the essential starting point, showcasing her ability to turn personal grief into a soaring, universal anthem. From there, her debut album 'Snowsniper' offers a grittier look at her hip-hop roots, while her more recent collaborations with artists like Froukje reveal a more melodic, yet still hauntingly beautiful, side of her artistry.

Stien den Hollander (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈstin dɛn ˈɦɔlɑndər]; born 8 November 2000), known professionally as S10 (Dutch pronunciation: [ɛsˈtin]), is a Dutch singer, rapper and songwriter. She began her musical career in 2016, and was signed to the Dutch hip hop record label Noah's Ark in 2017. In 2019, she released her debut studio album Snowsniper, which went on to win an Edison Award. Den Hollander represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "De diepte", the first Eurovision entry to be sung in the Dutch language since 2010.
